Disney is betting that many of the families who enjoy watching Disney stories on their TVs will want to watch them come to life aboard its cruise ships. Disney+ streaming service subscribers just got a holiday gift from Disney Cruise Line.

As we head into 2025, the cruise line has launched a new promotion aimed at driving bookings from Disney+ subscribers. The new special offer is only available to Disney+ subscribers and provides a sizeable Disney cruise discount for families, which typically isn’t easy to find.

Disney cruise deals aren’t common, though occasionally the cruise line discounts certain stateroom categories on some upcoming sailings. Disney Cruise Line also sometimes runs special promotions to drive new bookings like a popular offer that the cruise line just brought back last week that lets passengers pay half of the required deposit at the time of booking on select cruises.

The cruise line’s latest special offer exclusively for Disney+ subscribers is available for select sailings on three Disney cruise ships – Disney Wish, Disney Dream and Disney Wonder. Disney+ subscribers who are already booked on upcoming Disney cruises on these ships will want to take note of the offer too. The fine print says the offer is valid on some existing reservations.

Disney Cruise Line is offering half-off kids’ cruise fares for Disney+ subscribers

For a limited time, Disney+ subscribers can take advantage of a Disney cruise special offer that lets kids sail for 50% off on select cruises. On eligible sailings, third and fourth guests under 18 can sail for half price with two full-fare paying passengers in the same stateroom. Disney+ subscribers can book up to two staterooms with this offer but two full-fare paying passengers must stay in each stateroom.

The Disney+ subscriber offer is available to book now through Feb. 16, 2025. It’s valid for select sailings on the Disney Wish, Disney Dream and Disney Wonder cruise ships from Jan. 3, 2025, through June 13, 2025, for stateroom categories 04A-11C only. The offer excludes suites, concierge-level staterooms and stateroom categories with restrictions (VGT, OGT, IGT). Optional gratuities and Port Adventures (Disney Cruise Line shore excursions) are not included with the offer.

To book a Disney cruise with the Disney+ subscriber offer, passengers must first log in to the Disney Cruise Line website using the email address associated with their Disney+ subscription. Proof of Disney+ subscription is required. The Disney+ subscriber must be the primary passenger on the reservation and must sail in one of the staterooms booked with the offer.

The Disney+ subscriber offer on Disney cruises cannot be combined with any other offer, discount or onboard credit, except the cruise line’s Onboard Placeholder Offer, which allows passengers on board its ships to make a placeholder reservation for a future cruise and get 10% off prevailing rates.

Other ways to save money on Disney cruises

If you’re not a Disney+ subscriber, you may still be able to score a deal on a Disney cruise in 2025. Right now, Disney Cruise Line is offering cruise fare discounts on certain stateroom categories on select itineraries sailing now through early March.

Discounted Disney cruise fares of up to 20% off are currently available for certain stateroom categories on select sailings from Galveston, Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, Sydney, Honolulu and Vancouver. Passengers sailing from Australia and New Zealand can also find discounts of up to 30% for certain stateroom categories on select upcoming Disney cruises departing from Melbourne and Sydney.
