President-elect Donald Trump has been making headlines in the cryptocurrency industry. Trump has come a long way from condemning Bitcoin (BTC) to embracing it. While several partially regarded BTC’s $100,000 milestone to Trump, the former president took full credit.

Highlighting the king coin’s 50% uptick since his election win, he said:

“CONGRATULATIONS BITCOINERS!!! $100,000!!! YOU’RE WELCOME!!! Together, we will Make America Great Again!”

However, the real question is whether Trump made any profits from the recent market surge.

It seems like Trump is keen on altcoins and meme cryptocurrencies as opposed to Bitcoin. According to recent data, the President-elect’s portfolio was at just $1.5 million last week. But it is currently worth $8.3 million. This surge is notable, considering Trump has invested a notable amount of money into smaller assets.

Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency, has been at the top of the list for a while now. But recent data reveals that Trump’s largest investment is now TROG, a meme coin centered on frogs. He currently holds 210.345 billion TROG, which is worth about $2.54 million.

Donald Trump’s second-largest cryptocurrency holding was Ethereum. With about 495.672 ETH, his Ethereum holdings were worth about $1.92 million. In addition, Trump owns $1.86 million in wrapped ETH (WETH).

In addition to these, the future President also holds a cryptocurrency that shares his name. Previously, the TRUMP token was at the top of the list. However, the asset has reportedly lost 70% of its value. Currently standing in the fourth position, the President-elect holder 579K TRUMP tokens worth $990.59K.

Will Bitcoin and Dogecoin Make It To The Top Ten?

Despite Bitcoin’s ascent beyond the coveted $100,000 level, Trump seems to be hesitant about bagging BTC. In addition, the community is hoping that Elon Musk could push Trump to purchase the OG meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE). The world’s richest man is joining Trump’s administration in the coming year through a new team called DOGE.
